Bidmory is the westernmost island in the Floran archipelago. Though it served as a naval stop in Imperial times, it was uninhabited up till about 350 years ago, when an Irreanist monastery was founded there, on a bluff overlooking the sea. Two smaller monasteries were later founded in more remote locations.

Below the grand monastery, a mixed human and flaidish town has grown up, also called Bidmory. It is a popular port of call, especially since it’s outside the jurisdiction of both Flora and Verduria.

Etymology: Flaidish ‘monastery’. Ver. Bídmury.
