Khak Diqm is the principal elcarin settlement in southern Ereláe, located in the Diqun Bormai. Its inhabitants conduct trade as far away as Skouras, and they operate mines in the Fansava. Its language is mutually intelligible with that of Khatelyên, in the Elcarin mountains, more than three thousand kilometers distant.
Etymology: Elkarîl khak ‘city’ + diqm ‘cobalt ore’
