Aodo
From Almeopedia
Aodo [a 'o do] is the northernmost of the three Verdurian provinces comprising Sereor. Like neighboring parts of Irvesi, it is largely an agricultural backwater, with its unexceptional towns of Ďarcalno and Mituré both on the Serea. To the north and east, Verdurian de jure sovereignty extends across the river, though in reality nobody has bothered to assert control over the Dukes of Muďuca and the bandits of the desert.
Aodo became part of Verduria with the conquests of Caleon Este in the 2950s, though, like the rest of Sereor, it has tended to assert its independence in periods of Verdurian decentralization and strife. The primary noble house in the province is the Obuneon family, who style themselves surconts of Aodo.
