AXUNAIC

The Axunaic language family is part of the Eastern family; its speakers have dominated Xengiman starting from their expansion in -350. It includes the standard language of ancient Axunai, Axunašin, as well as that of modern Xurno, Xurnáš.

Philological note: Axunaic refers to the language family; it is sometimes useful to refer to the speakers as well. Before Timai the speakers are properly called Ezičimi, their own name for themselves. The people of Axunai are Axunemi; those of modern Xurno are Xurnese.
