Ayeša
From Almeopedia
Ayeša [a ˈjɛ ʃa] was a Queen of Verduria, the eighth by reign and the sixth by person of the Abolineron Dynasty-- and the last.
She was born in 3355, the daughter of Ževuran, son of Ažerey 2e. Ževuran's brother Mëranac 2e became king on the death of his father; one of his first decrees was to disown Ževuran because he had-- years ago-- married an Eleď e. Ayeša was however rased as a pagan.
Ževuran began plotting against his brother. He was upstaged by another branch of the family: his second cousin Miďë managed to take the sash and imprison Mëranac (3371). Ževuran redirected his energies; Miďë was assassinated in 3374, most likely by one of Ževuran's agents.
He then placed his 19-year-old daughter Ayeša on the throne. From all reports, Ayeša approached her new duties seriously if naively; her first question for the Sanno Konselore elreë, the prime minister, was Tu delaže sannát tuë? "Did you inherit your position?"
However, these latest dynastic switches finally exceeded the patience of many. A group within the Esčambra, with the aid of the Army, occupied the Abolineron palaces and executed Ayeša and as many of her relatives as they could find, including her brother Pavlo, Mëranac's wife and son, and Miďë and her husband. Ževuran escaped the slaughter, but fled to Kebri. The revolutionaries declared a republic, but soon lost power themselves as the country descended into civil war.
