Eidnani
From Almeopedia
Eidnani [ejd 'na ni] is a language family of Arcél, spoken in the Eidnan and Trund peninsulas in the southeast. The people are racially Adurise and have remained hunter-gatherers, largely untouched by the development of the rest of the continent. They are cut off from other humans in the north by a zone of elcari, icëlani, and iliu; their only neighbors are the similarly unprogressive Bnaseans in the arctic zone to the west.
Eidnani is demonstrably related to Kleʔmet’, a family spoken 4000 km to the west, forming the Eidnani-Kleʔmet’ superfamily; there is no cultural contact or even similarity— the historical connection lies buried thousands of years in the past.
The Eidnani languages are fusional, with SOV order, and typically prefixing— all characteristics quite unlike Kleʔmet’.
