Emet is the chief town of the island of Mircaum, in the Neziora. It’s noted for its bilingualism, speaking forms of Verdurian and Kebreni which have almost entirely merged in syntax. The resulting grammar is rather more analytical than either standard language.
(Mircaum is almost entirely human in population, though there are a few flaids in the northern half of the island, mostly in Emet.)
