Hroth (in Verdurian, Řoď) is a small nation in Eretald, situated along the Eärdur and extending west to the Rhânori range of the Elcarin mountains. It is a Barakhinei-speaking country, and is one of three majority-Eleďe nations (along with Érenat and Benécia). Politically, it is a loose confederacy of five barons, united for defense. Marble is found in Hroth's mountains. It is a relatively young country, having been formed when the barons in the more remote and Eleďe southern portion of Mútkün rebelled and gained their independence.
The chief cities are Ârkalen (the largest commercial city, on the Eärdur) and Airilôd (the strongest of the baronies).
Independence: 3425 (from Mútkün)
Neighbors: Mútkün (to NE), Rhânor (to NW), Benécia (to SW), Verduria (to E), Peleu (to SE)
