BORDË >
Išira is the name of a goddess in Caďinorian paganism.

The Išira [i ˈʃi ra] is a neighborhood of Verduria city, south of the Maztan-lagana and extending to the right bank of the Eärdur, a borough known as the Bordë, the Shore.

Settlement in the Bordë dates back to Caďinorian times, and indeed one of the features of the borough is extensive ancient ruins. However, the street grid was laid out during the Eleďe dynasty, and the diagonal Rafát and Enäron streets were carved out by Mëranac 1e. The neighborhood is one of the richest in Verduria, filled with the mansions of nobles and rich bourgeois, and the northern section is the site of most government offices.
