Kibruise
From Almeopedia
The Kibruise race occupies the northern half of Arcél. Skin color is coppery, though darker among the Bé; hair is usually a glossy black. The Kibruisî are notably small and slight by Almean standards, though the Linaic peoples are larger. They tend to have large hooked noses, and the men have little facial hair.
Linguistically, the Kibruisî divide into three language families:
- Linaminche, itself divided into
- Beic, comprising the languages of Belesao and its relatives
- Kemic in the center highlands and the eastern coast; racially this is a zone of mixture between Kibruise and Melanke, but the origin of the language family is in Kereminth
Etymology: Caď. kibru ‘copper’.
