Meša
From Almeopedia
Meša [ˈmɛ ʃa] is the main god of the Mešaist pantheon. He is usually associated with the male sex, hawks, air and the planet Išira (which is still called Meša in Xurno). He was also, under the name Wila:r, the chief deity of the Xengi delta as well as Yenine, one of the largest Wede:i cities.
After the Easterners conquered Xengiman, he was said to have defeated by the sun god Inbamu, but later this defeat was undone. It's worth noticing that one of the main Axunemi temple festivals was devoted to Meša, the other to Inbamu.
Meša was never considered the creator, since the world was believed to be eternal. He simply happened to be the most powerful god in our plane of existence for the last half million years...
A son of Meša and Ušimex, Šagis, was one of most popular gods among the Axunemi, supplicated to find any lost items.
Etymology: Wede:i Wila:r, New Jeori Vîlar, Cuolese Wilár; Ax., X. Meša, Ṭeôši Mešô, Caď., Ver. Mesa.
