Soa Nezi [sɔ ˈnɛ zi] ‘the Island’ is the usual Verdurian name for Arin Island.

It's also the name for a particular neighborhood of Verduria city, south of Arcaln and north of the University of Verduria. This is one of the oldest districts in Verduria, dating to soon after Arcaln was built in Caďinorian times. It's one of the richest areas of the city, also favored by the middle class (especially lawyers, magicians, and University professors).
