Petrei
From Almeopedia
Petrei [pɛ ˈtrɛ i] is a neighborhood in Verduria city. It's one of the oldest extant neighborhoods, dating back to the Dark Years, and retains a medieval formlessness. At that time it was called, unexcitingly, the Sar ("East") district. It's always been poor or working class-- one reason, perhaps that the Mažtane Hospital was built there; hospitals are considered a necessary evil in Verduria.
The neighborhood takes its current name from Nëron Petro, the second-largest Eleďe church in the city, after the cathedral, Nëron Mihel. Not coincidentally, Petrei has the highest concentration of Eleďi in Verduria.
It's bordered by the Scafiora to the north, and is a favored residence for Scafiorans who've made good. To the south is the much more tony Žeuro.
