Roa
From Almeopedia
The roa is a small mammal native to Bekkai. The wild roa is about the size of a dog; the domesticated roa is the size of a small pig. They are social animals, not very smart or aggressive, with a thin coat, big nose, and large round ears (these last are all adaptations to the equatorial climate). They will eat just about anything, from plants to smaller animals to insects to animal waste. So long as they're kept out of the food stores, then, they are valuable animals to keep, since they find their own food, help keep the village clean, and grow quickly. The domesticated variety has been imported to Omeguo.
In K’aitan, ‘roa’ is a colloquial term for children.
Etymology: Omeguese roa.
