Sorghum is the staple food of the Arcél tropical zone as well as Kereminth and out into the Island Sea. The plant itself looks much like corn but has clusters of small, ball-shaped grains in place of the cobs. It can be prepared in all the ways wheat can (including fermentation), though it doesn’t have the protein content of Ereláean wheat.
