Téllinor
From Almeopedia
Téllinor [ˈtɛ li nor] is a large area on the western coast of Ereláe. It is best known for its Verdurian colony, founded in 3355. Téllinor is about as advanced as pre-colonial southern and central Africa: it has agriculture and iron working, but no writing. Politically, it is formed of small, easily-divided kingdoms. Its native folk are of the Telise race. The major languages spoken in the colony (besides Verdurian) are Yamda and Trêng.
Téllinorese agriculture is based on rye, littlewheat, nutgrass and the groundnut (the last of which has been taken to Verduria). Other crops include cloves and cacao, both of which have also been imported to Verduria.
Etymology: Pseudo-Caďinor, "West-land"
