Talk:Bé

From Almeopedia

Now, here you describe the Linaminche as culturally Bé, but elsewhere you note that Linaic culture is distinct from Belesao in that it's illiterate and there are no cities. So is that one general difference between Linaic and Bé culture (a big one I'd think), or is it Belesao that's distinct among Bé nations for being literate and urbanized? --Dunomapuka 13:11, 14 June 2007 (PDT)

The idea isn't that all the Linaminche are culturally Bé, just some of them-- basically, the ones who live pretty much surrounded by ethnic Bé. Zompist 13:45, 14 June 2007 (PDT)

And is "Belanic" also valid name for this family? Al-Bargit 03:42, 25 September 2007 (PDT)

'Beic' is better. (Why the -lan-?) Zompist 12:06, 25 September 2007 (PDT)
I saw Belanic at the ZBB (in the Rogues thread).
I can't find it with a search, but it's possible I used that as an early name somewhere. Zompist 10:06, 26 September 2007 (PDT)
