OK, I've summarised more than 6/10 of the early sources, and I think I've had enough for now. I probably won't do more work on this article in the foreseeable future (though of course, if no-one else takes it on in the meantime, I might get back to it eventually).

The hardest part is knowing what to include and what to reject (with four chapters left to do, it's currently about half the length of the longest article currently on Almeopedia). Fortunately, the beauty of the Wiki system is that no one person has to carry the burden of deciding what goes in and what goes out - and if others feel that I've dwelled too much on some things or left out more important things, then they may well be right.
