Talk:Ereláe

Why is there an accent on the a? Doesn't Verdurian put the stress on the second-to-last syllable anyway?--Raphael 05:39, 29 July 2008 (PDT)

It does have a minor effect on declension-- e.g. the genitive is Ereláei. On the meta level, it's an important enough word that it helps the English speaker get the accent right-- Erelae would most likely suggest [ˈɛ rɛ laj]. Zompist 16:57, 29 July 2008 (PDT)
