Status of Denisovič
This page states that the Verdurian-Kebreni wars resulted in Denisovič becoming independent "though it was effectively a Kebreni protectorate." However, on the page for Ismaîn, it is said that after Elena's wars "[the Gulag archipelago] became de jure independent (as Denisovič) but de facto a Verdurian protectorate".
