Talk:Thinking Kinds
From Almeopedia
What of the Gdeoni/giants? Are they excluded due to their (possible?) mythic nature, their (possible?) extinction or a lack of sentience? Furius 01:37, 14 April 2007 (PDT)
- There's no physical evidence for them. (So far. By my own rules of Almeology, I am not omniscient... I may not have looked in the right place.) Zompist 08:46, 14 April 2007 (PDT)
According to the page on zompist.com, they can breathe underwater. Are they capable of sustained underwater breathing? That is, can they remain submerged indefinitely, or are they only capable of obtaining a part of their oxygen needs from water, and would still need to regularly surface? Nik Taylor 10:38, 21 June 2008 (PDT)
- I think you're referring to the general statement about lesuniae, the order that includes the Thinking Kinds. The lutinids and tritonids can still breathe underwater, but the hominid branch has lost this ability. Zompist 11:11, 21 June 2008 (PDT)
- Ah, okay. So, the lutinids and tritonids can remain indefinitely submerged? Nik Taylor 17:33, 21 June 2008 (PDT)
- Yep. Zompist 18:12, 21 June 2008 (PDT)
