Trow bean
The trow bean is a small green bean with red spots, very high in protein (35%), common throughout the Rau jungle. It’s boiled, fermented into bean paste (Nanese ciumu), or, with brine added, into a condiment much like soy sauce (sidrɔu).
In Eretald, except for Flora and Kebri, the bean is almost unknown, but the sauce (Ver. sidro) is increasingly popular as a condiment.
