Hiya, BG... I'm not sure if you should have references to Greek gods in entries on Caďinorian gods. The Elenicoi weren't pagans anyway. I'd suggest you add a separate page listing your proposed equivalents. Zompist 15:06, 2 June 2008 (PDT)

Ah, okay. I was thinking about what the Elenicoi would have called the planets after they got settled in Avela and started looking up at the sky. Christians in Europe still used the old pagan names for the planets, and I suspect it would have been the same here. I figured that in the cases of Vereon, Išira, and Vlerëi, the Elenicoi would have most likely called them Hermes, Hera, and Artemis respectively, going for calques rather than direct borrowings, as the Romans did with Greek gods. (Aphrodite would have been too confusing... she's the goddess of love, but on Oikumene was used for Venus -- and where Vlerë diverges from Aphrodite, she seems to resemble Artemis most closely.) Still trying to decide on the outer planets. BGMan 18:07, 2 June 2008 (PDT)
