Zeir

Zeir is the northeastern province of Verduria and shares a border with Ismahi and Denisovič. It was a Caďinorian province, but increasingly autonomous in the Dark Years; it became formally independent in 2792 when the Curiyans conquered Žésifo. It was peacefully united with Verduria when Lord Ánabar (ruled 2859-2888) married Lady Ašeli of Zeir in 2870.
Zeir's major cities are Zeirdan, on the coast, and Ydamai, on the Serea. Legend has it that Zeirdan was saved from the Gelyet in the 2500s by the wizard Tivuran.
The name Zeir is Cuêzi for "sea-land".
